IHOP rarely disappoints. You know exactly what you're going to get so have appropriate expectations. Felipe was an absolute gem of a server, the food above par, and the views quite extraordinary.

From the moment I walked in, I was overwhelmed with positivity and friendliness. Service was prompt and courteous and food was superb. I'm from out of town so to stop by and be have such a wonderful experience was prime. Thank you! Will definitely refer.

The server was sweet but obviously given too much of a work load. She was running around frantically. That however is not why I gave them one star. It's because each of our plates had an extra item on it. My husband ordered pancakes and one of them had what looked like a mushroom cooked into it. I ordered the all you can eat shrimp and in my first plate was a fried bit of chicken bone and a inch long hair. In my second plate was something that looked like either a jelly fish or a fried booger. So gross!

This was our "go to" restaurant for breakfast. We'd go all the time. As of yesterday!? NEVER AGAIN!!!! There was a hair in my friends omelet! Which of course made me stop eating mine!! Disgusting! We talked to the manager, and he actually said he was too busy to talk. We cornered him anyway and told him customers are #1. End of story. I mean, a HAIR in the omelet. Gross!! Never again.

Can't say how good the food or service was or wasn't bc we never got seated. :( It was 11ish(AM) and there were 3-4 tables with people seated max, with a long line of others waiting to be seated. It was not busy at all and yet I did not see one server or manager the entire time we waited, seemed like they were all on break at the same time maybe..... Very disappointing to see such a lackluster atmosphere about customer service as soon as you walk in, especially since all the other places we ate at were fantastic, even the fast food places. Perhaps it wasn't the norm for this particular place, but a first impression is what it is after-all. We just decided to go spend our tourist money elsewhere....

Drove for nearly an hour through rush hour traffic to meet my aunt and uncle who happened to be passing through town around dinner time. They'd been sitting at the restaurant for at least ten minutes and the waitress hadn't even taken their drink order yet. She finally asked for our drink order a little after we arrived. We placed our food order and didn't see her again until over half an hour later. Not only was the food late coming out, one of the orders was wrong and had to be fixed. Luckily the food itself was good (really yummy brioche French toast), otherwise the experience would have completely sucked.

Time number 3. We waited for about 5 minutes to even be acknowledged. We were seated, and the guy hardly said anything welcoming as he sat us. As we looked over our menus, ten minutes go by and no one has asked us what we would like to drink. A woman came by and questioned "Has Chris been by?" And my family looked at her because we had no idea who Chris was! She took our drink orders, another 7-10 minutes go by and we finally receive our drinks. They guy "Chris" did not say ONE word as he sat our drinks down. He left to give us another moment to look over our menus. I'd say about 10 minutes went by and he came back and said "I'm ready for your order now". Well so were we. For quite some time. The service here sucks. And always has. I am so sick of people not knowing how to do their job. Even village inn is better than this!!! And that's saying something!!!

Bacon is either really greasy or if you ask for crispy, it comes out hard as a rock. Wish they could cook bacon, or at least drain the grease from it. This time, the over-easy eggs were cooked akmost completely through. The bacon came arouund great - it just seens that usually one oart of the breakfast is not cooked properly. The server was fantasic, she was helpful aand had personality.

IHOP is the same in Castle Rock as it is in Washington DC; as it is Baltimore; as it is in Sante Fe, and probably every other location. But isn't that what diners want from a dependable, family-friendly chain for a hearty breakfast? The service was friendly, prompt, and attentive. The place appeared to be clean and neat (I didn't visit the ladies room or kitchen). I usually order the Harvest Nut breakfast combo that includes pancakes, eggs over easy, hash browns, and bacon (no, not a dieter's delight, but sometimes you just want CARBS!) I also get a side of rye to dip into my liquid yolks; the bread is toasted enough to give a slight crunch to the outside, but soft enough to bend and not fall apart in my hands (like Pegasus!) At various times, family members have gotten waffles, omelets, and a basic breakfast combo and, while nothing to rave about, is completely satisfactory and consistent. One time I commented that I loved the butter pecan syrup but had a tough time finding it. The server surprised me with a styrofoam cup FULL of syrup!! Wow! I never expected that! Prices are perfectly reasonable. They have free wifi (just ask the host or server for the passcode) and are very good about keeping the coffee coming. I encourage diners to be courteous and camp out anytime OTHER than Saturday/Sunday 8 a.m.-noon and tip very well if you have monopolized a table for a while, even during a slow period.

I've eaten here multiple times and the service and food were great. It's an IHOP, which means it's a particular type of food and atmosphere. I like it. But again, this isn't a fancy place.... it's nearly always the same.

I've visited this location a few times, mostly for breakfast meetings. Today, the conditions were the same or similar to any other visit. My experiences here have been consistent if nothing else. The service exceeds my expectations for a pancake/coffee shop. My server was a man named Corey; he's been serving breakfast here for a while (I remember him from prior visits). He was pleasant and efficient. Welcoming, even. The restaurant is clean. Sometimes the 24 hour places tend to look dicey and run down due to their heavier customer load. This place hasn't been affected like that. It's clean and decently decorated. (Except for the bizarre mushroom and broccoli portraits. Quirky. Weird!) The food is just IHOP fare--same as you'll get at the IHOP near your house or motel. Mine was prepared well, and to order. I prefer my omelet made with eggs (sans the pancake batter) and served with vegetables instead of hash browns. No problem. The cook even showed a little finesse in its presentation. Many cooks will toss the spinach into a bowl and add it to the plate, as an afterthought. This fella incorporated it into the omelet and made it a part of the meal. Honestly, I don't care one way or another, but it's demonstrative of the effort they took to make our meal enjoyable. I'll be back, because I have infrequent meetings here. If you're traveling by on I25 or staying the night in one of the motels nearby, (I doubt you'll go out of your way to find a breakfast joint, otherwise) I think I can extend my recommendation with some confidence that you will have a decent experience.

It's IHOP, not the Brown Palace. Food, service, and ambiance are the same in all IHOP restaurants. Show up hungry and leave full, all at an acceptable price.

It's an IHOP. Menu is good, we didn't have to wait. It was about 10 AM the Saturday before Christmas. The place was busy, the food as good, we didn't wait to be seated or for our food. The cleanliness wasn't, the place was attrocious. The table was greasy and I stuck to the seat. Two of the women's restroom toilets were stopped up and nasty. The other one was almost out of toilet paper. Paper towels were everywhere. The maintenance sign-off sheet on the back of the door was untouched...no times, no signatures. YUCK! I was only visiting from California, but I'll not come back if I can help it.

There was no line when we got there, and we're seated right away.the menus had a lot of options, and the food wasn't bad. However, the service on the other hand could have been better.the waitress that was serving us was very forgetful, and a little pushy.she made the comment to us that they were getting busy, and the restaurant was not busy at all.in addition, she was a little rude by interrupting us. not a bad place for its price, but the service can approve.it is the typical IHOP.

I-SLOP. Sticky tables, indifferent service, inconsistent food quality. Typical 24-hour 3rd rate breakfast place. The Village Inn one exit south is MUCH better!

All im going to say about this place is i was served ROTTEN...bacon... and when i brought it up to the wait staff she told me that she thought something was off about it....10% for my meal wasn't good enough...this place should be closed down.. so all and all just say no..i really have no idea why Castle Rock needs to be filled with such bad places to eat...but this is one of the worst....
